We have developed our own effluent free Kemeox oxidation process for the manufacture of PBQ.
Para Benzoquinone, a chemical compound, which acts as a cross linking agent. It is a green to yellow crystalline solid which is used in nylon fiber to press clothes. It is advantageous in stabilizing unsaturated polyester and also used as a chemical intermediate. It is also known as 2,5 cyclohexadiene and 1,4 dione.

Applications:
- Para-Benzoquinone has a considerable vapor pressure and readily sublimes and condenses to form bright yellow needles
- Para-Benzoquinone acts as a cross linking agent
- It has been shown to increase the moisture''''s resistance of nylon fiber thermoplastic and to reduce the flammability of nylon fiber
- When used in nylon fiber to press clothes, it improves the heat resistance and strength of the fabric
- Para-Benzoquinone can act as a staining agent for proteins and polymerizes, which tends to limit its usefulness in some applications
- P-Benzoquinone is useful in stabilizing unsaturated polyester resins during processing, shipment, and storage in either catalyzed or per catalyzed form
- It is also used as a chemical intermediate for euphemistic, a herbicide
