Desizing agent serve to remove the sizes from the warp threads following the weaving process and prior to further processing. Desizing agent is a high temperature stable, bacterial Alpha-amylase based desizing agent specially recommended for desizing of fabrics sized with starch and water soluble cellulose derivatives. Desizing agent can be applied by exhaust, pad-roll and pad-batch methods. Properties:- 1) Physical appearance : Light yellow to yellow liquid ; 2) Ionic nature : Nonionic ; 3) pH of 1% solution: 6 +/- 1 ; 4) Miscibility : Miscible with water ; 5) Compatibility : Compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic products ; 6) Stability : Stable to dilute alkalies and stable to dilute acids Application : - EXHAUST RECIPE APPLICATION Desize-GC : 0.4-0.5% Celldet-R : 0.3-0.5% Saraquest-W (Conc) : 0.15-0.2% Temperature : 50-80 deg.C, pH : 6-7 * Load grey fabric * Add Celldet-R and Saraquest-W (Conc). * Adjust pH 6-7 and add Desizing agent * Run for 2-4 ends followed by hot wash (2 ends) and cold wash. PAD-ROLL APPLICATION Desize-GC : 4-5 g/l Celldet-R : 3-4 g/l Saraquest-W (Conc) : 1.5-2 g/l Sarakol-NF : 1.5-2 g/l Padding temp. : 80 deg.C, pH 6-7 Pad - roll : 6-8 hrs at 70-80 deg.C Pad at 70-100% expression Desizing agent to be added after adjustment of pH and temperature of padding liquor. At the end of batching period, fabric to be given hot wash and cold wash. PAD-BATCH APPLICATION : Desize-GC : 4-5 g/l Celldet-R : 3-4 g/l Saraquest-W (Conc) : 1.5-2 g/l Sarakol NF : 1.5-2.0 g/l Padding temp. : 60-70 deg.C * Pad-batch for 8-12 hrs. * Pad at 70-100% expression. * Desizing agent to be added after adjustment of pH and temperature of padding liquor. At the end of batching period, fabric to be given hot wash and cold wash. Note : Please note that efficiency of desizing would depend upon type and quantity of size used, temperature, pH, treatment time as well as quality of water. For desizing of yarn dyed shirting, first ensure the fastness of yarn dyed fabric at 60 deg C. For better performance, use nonionic wetting agent. Solution of Desize-GC should be prepared in water of pH 6-7 only. Precautions Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture. Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
